does there ever come a time when enough is enough? when one needs to step back and evaluate priorities?
as i watch the number below continue to grow, i can't help but step back and evaluate priorities. has it reached a point where we say enough is enough?
when there are people dying of diseases because they don't have enough money. when people are starving to death because they don't have money for food. when people are forced into prostitution to pay the bills, it forces me to step back and ask the question of why?

Iraq War Cost
i believe we, as americans, have a responsibility because of the concentration of wealth within our nation, not just a local responsibility but also a global one, and our responsibility should not be the promotion of war... but of peace.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated?

I was just telling Rachel last night how crazy it truly is that we've allowed our government to get away with this. How that cost (not including lives) can justify anything...
To think that at least 90% of that is also going to oil companies, the military and military suppliers too.
For anyone else reading this, please click the link for the counter because the graph is even more shocking for me. I mean think about the money/lives saved had we just stopped after Saddam was captured? I mean wasn't that the "reason" we were supposedly there anyway?
